Timely intervention is critical for managing lymphedema (LE is the accepted abbreviation). I’ve collected a team of talented and dedicated women who are devoted to helping others understand how to cope with and manage this life-changing condition.

FREE Monthly Meetings & EXERCISE CLASS

3rd Wednesday of Every Month 5:00 ~ 6:30 pm

Each meeting includes an educational presentation, time for questions & practical techniques for UNDERSTANDING, MANAGING & PREVENTING LYMPHEDEMA

All are welcome: women, men, legs, arms, primary, secondary - anyone at risk for LE, partners/friends who support, or anyone interested in learning about LE. If you are preparing for surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, education is important for preventing & managing complications.

Different topics every month, often with special guest;, topics include:

  • Management, Diagnosis & Treatment of LE
  • Lifestyle recommendations, Self Care and Exercises
  • Overview of the lymph system & LE
  • Compression garments
  • Nutrition & Integrated complementary health
  • Resources for helping you cope with & manage LE
